At St. Joseph Travels, we take pride in offering safe, punctual, and dependable transportation services for students. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be processed for our services.
1. Fee Structure
- All transport service fees are payable either on a half-yearly or annual basis, as chosen during registration.
- Fees are to be paid in advance and are generally non-refundable, except under certain conditions outlined below.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:
a. Service Discontinuation by Parent/Guardian
- A written request for discontinuation must be submitted at least 15 days in advance.
- The reason for discontinuation must be genuine and valid, and will be reviewed by our team. Refunds will be issued only upon approval.
- If approved, the refund will be processed for the unused period on a pro-rata basis, after deducting any applicable administrative or operational charges.
b. Service Disruption from Our End
- In rare cases of extended service disruption caused by operational issues (e.g., strikes, mechanical failure, or route suspension), a partial refund or credit may be issued.
c. Duplicate Payment
- Any unintentional or duplicate payments will be fully refunded upon verification.
3. Non-refundable Situations
- No refunds will be granted in the following cases:
- Absenteeism of the student due to illness, exams, vacation, or any personal reasons.
- Failure to board the vehicle at the scheduled time or stop.
- Suspension of service due to disciplinary reasons or violation of transport policies.
- Temporary interruptions caused by traffic, weather, or external factors beyond our control.
4. Refund Process
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing (via email or in person).
- The request must include:
- Student’s full name
- Registered mobile number
- Route details
- Reason for refund with any relevant documents (if applicable)
- Once approved, refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days through the original mode of payment.
